KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
Understanding your rights before a workplace problem escalates can make all the difference.
If you reasonably believe an investigatory interview could result in discipline, you may have the right to request union representation.
Employees covered by applicable labor-management law may request union representation during qualifying investigatory interviews. The right generally must be requested by the employee.
“If this discussion could lead to discipline, I am requesting union representation before I answer questions.”
